"Glitch", Maggie Stevenson

Maggie Stevenson is from Jonesboro, Arkansas. She attends the University of Arkansas majoring in Psychology and Literature. Aside from painting, she enjoys writing, traveling, and is an aviation enthusiast. She feels that the combination of words with abstract expression adds a complexity to her work and an integrative specificity to the overall definition of art.

Stephen Ironside, Photography

Artist statement: I am an advanced amateur photographer from Fayetteville, Arkansas, as well as a full time student at the University of Arkansas. I have had no formal training -- photography is my hobby, not my profession, and I enjoy every minute of it. My ideal job would be to work for a nature magazine and travel the world doing what I love, but if that doesn't happen, I will be content with being a hobbyist. My work has been published in the Fayetteville High School Literary Magazine Connotations, Volumes XXII and XXIII, The Arkansas Traveler, and has won a photo contest judged by renowned Arkansas nature photographer Tim Ernst. I was on the Connotations XXIII staff, and am currently a staff photographer for The Traveler. I displayed work at Art Amiss VII and VIII. I also photograph weddings for Stone Ridge Photographers of Fayetteville, am a member of the North American Nature Photography Association and Wedding and Portrait Photographers International, and display at Poor Richard's Art gallery in Rogers, AR. Visit my website—www.ironsidephotography.com—for more information and examples of my work.
